P0340 and P0344 2006 Ford F150 - engine light on constantly truck runs good

Question

Replaced sensor, PMC and alternator.  Check continuity of wiring to computer.  Good.  Mechanic checking wire diagrams for truck indicated the wiring to sensor backwards.  Changed wiring and engine would not run right, very rough. Got code of P0012 - VCT over retarded.  Put the wiring back and engine ran good again, engine light still on.  I have had the truck for 14 months.  Problem did not show up until last September.

P0344 Camshaft position sensor A Circuit intermittent Bank1

Both these code are for Bank 1 camshaft sensor, being intermittent you may want to have the terminal end replaced, or check to see if the connection is not spread out  causing a intermittent connection.
