P1130 Subaru - Why does this code also turn off my VDC on my 2001 H6 outback?

I get a p1130 code when my CELL comes on and I also get  VDC OFF on my screen. Why would they be related?

Hi there

Some codes turn the VDC off for safety reasons. It is most likely you also have an issue with the VDC but need to read the ABS computer to find out what code is being stored.
