P0706 Ford - how do i fix this?

I have had a recurring problem with brake pads wearing down to quick and was wondering if that is connected to this and how can I fix this issue with the code

P0706 TR sensor range or performance error

When you have tis code the transmission goes into a stuck gear position, so yes this can cause the front brake pads to wear out fast. When you set a P0706 there plenty of cause for this code condition such as the gear selector cable, the transmission range sensor itself, or the TCM (transmission control module) use Ford TSB that they produced for this code condition TSB # 09-13-7  titled DTC P0706 Transmission range sensor circuit failure.
