Buick rendezvous code p0560

Question

This vehicle lost an alternator . Since the alternator was changed out it has had some strange behaviors in the morning. The chime on the vehicle stays on and the transmission goes into fail safe mode

P0560 System voltage

Check the battery positive connection making sure it is not loose, You would also need to check for any other code that may have set, the only way tis code can cause a transmission to go into a limp in mode is if the alternator is over charging  condition.
