2012 Chevrolet Impala - Is there a warranty on SDM programming to BCM?

The SDM and the BCM were not connected.  Is this covered under EPA warranty 8 year 80 thousand mile warranty?

The SDM is the security device module and the BCM is the body control module, the security is not covered under a warranty , This all depends a on the warranty that is purchased
