what dose the EGR BPT VAVLE do does it have full vacuum from intake bottom of the BPT valve ?
Vehicle: 2000 Nissan Altima 2.4

Hi there,

It doesn't have vacuum from the bottom. It actually has pressure which pushes the diaphragm up to slow the vacuum from the intake manifold. The vacuum for the bpt and the egr is generated by the egrc solenoid. Check your EGR tube, it may be blocked with carbon. This would stop the egr flow and the egr temp sensor not changing voltage would cause the code to pop up.
