Hello, I have a 2003 Chevy Silverado with 6.0L engine.  My check engine light comes on and I had the codes checked at Auto Zone.  They told me the two codes were P0101 & P0300.  The engine seems to run fine, I do not feel as if I have a lack in power, and the fuel mileage has not decreased at all.  The check engine light only comes on when it is warmer outside.  For example most of the summer it was on regularly, now that we started to get temps in the 40's & 30's the light is not on.  If the truck sits out in the sun during the day and warms up some the light will come on during my drive home.  Any thoughts on what could be causing this?  I have a K&N air filter installed and cleaned it during my last oil change.  Did not make a difference either way.  Any thoughts?

P0101 MAF circuit range performance problem
P0300 Random misfire

Do a MAF cleaning when ever you clean you K& N  airfilter . Fuel pressure should be looked into. when the fuel pressure is low than the manufacture you can set a P0101 with a P0300.

Also check the fuel pressure regulator at the vacuum hose connection for any fuel that may be seeping out, with the engine running and vacuum hose removed if it is replace the fuel pressure regulator
