Yes. I recently re-placed the EGR valve in my Oldsmobile Bravada about 5 months ago. Now my engine light is on again with the P1404 code. Is my EGR valve bad or is it something else.

When the EGR was replaced , you need to clear the DTC for the EGR, when you do this the VCM see a new command for minimum EGR pintle command to be relearned.
