P0088 - KIA Sorento 2.5 CRDi 2007 Fault code possible causes

Fault code P0088 & ECM goes to malfunction mode. The Engine doesn't exceeds 2900 RPM at Idle. The Inlet Metering Valve (on the HP fuel pump) is replased with a new one -- no luck.
