P1870 Chevrolet -

Question

I have a 1996 Chevy K1500 V6 Automatic, The service engine light comes on and code is P1870, I had the transmission rebuilt about 8000 miles ago and the transmission guy just replaced the torque converter and it still came back on and shifts harder when the light comes on compared to it not being on from 1st to 2nd! The Transmission guy thinks it is the ECM on the truck. I did put a used motor in it about a year ago.
