i have a nissan altima 2.5L. i have a check engine light which gives me code 0102, means fault MAF sensor, but i just replace that like a week ago. the strange things is after i disconnect the sensor, erease the code from the computer and connect the sensor back, it works just fine for an hour or two of driving on the road then all of a sudden engine stops by itself and /or rough driving condition. i have checked the hoses before the manifold and after the sensor, there is no leak of air, i begin to think could it be a electrical problem with my alernator or sth else? help plz
Vehicle: nissa altima 2003 2.5l

Hi Jay,

If you used an aftermarket sensor, it's likely still the problem. When you have a code directly related to the maf sensor, either the wiring to the sensor has failed or the sensor itself. Aftermarket sensors do not last on these and it sounds like as it gets hot, it stops sending signal to the computer.
