Hello, I need help; I had the p0720 code come up on my 2006 Ford Escape 3.0L 4x4. So, I got the new output speed sensor, and it still is throwing the code. Where do I go from here? Please help.

Hi there,

Since replacing the sensor did not solve the issue, check the wiring. You could also have a problem with the TCM.

Here is some more info for you.

What the ECM does is look for open, short, grounds and rationality, P0720 will result in a harsh shift or abnormal shift, if this is the sensor, P0720 more than likely appears due to an internal mechanical transmission problem.
