the camshaft position sensor was the freeze frame troubled code but other codes(could've been older) were knock sensor high and low imput bank 1

Hi there,

If the cam sensor code is there, check and make sure the rotor is spinning when you try to crank the engine. Sometimes a broken timing belt will show this code because the distributor rotor isn't turning.

If it is, then chances are the truck needs a new distributor, the cam sensor is part of the distributor on these and cannot be replaced.
