u 1000 & po300 code 2001 alero 2.4

have a 2001 olds alero 2.4 lt with a U1000 code and also a po300 code very hard to start and when it finally starts i have too accelerate for it to stay on and smokes out the tail pipe and smells lik raw gas what could it be
