P1521 Dodge - charger

Question

The check engine light came on after an accident ly downshift exiting the freeway. The p1521 code is the code that came up. When exiting we were going less than 30 mph and heard a loud vrrrroom noise which we thought was the transmission and quickly went to the side of the road and turned the car off and back on.

P1521 Incorrect engine oil type

Check the oil level even though this code mean incorrect oil type, low oil pressure due to low oil will set this code, if the oil level is correct this code is not the cause or the result of a incorrect downshift,
