what would be the reason for the car to shut off on me and cause it to shake?

P0725 Mitsubishi -  i changed the cranked shaft sensor and the car shakes and causes the car to shut off on me and i go to a mechanic and thy say its the crankshaft sensor which was recently changed i need help and would like to know what is wrong with the car

P0725 Malfunction of engine speed.

If the CKP was recently replaced , and the engine is still stalling out, check for other codes that may be present such as the pending codes, P0725 is not for the crankshaft sensor ,
