P0303 Ford - taurus 2006 never got this code til it started raining for 2 weeks straight...now can't get rid of it

Hi there,

If the code started with wet weather then it is most likely the ignition coil causing the problem. Moisture causing a misfire usually indicates there is a leak in the coil so the spark is arcing from the coil to the block instead of putting power to the spark plug.
