P1744 Ford -

p1744 code on 96 ford probe. cd4e trans doesnt appear to lockup at cruising speeds.  after about 20 minutes of freeway driving the o/d lite starts flashing.   going up a slight incline (at steady cruising speeds) the tranny downshifts whether or not the gas pedal is pushed down.
