P1009 Honda -

Question

I just bought this car I'm getting the code p1009  I know this car has been sitting for a while I plug my computer in and cleared the code it's running a lot better very smooth from what I read up on it could be oil  The filter were just the fact that the car was sitting I want to know should I let this go for a couple weeks I've been getting on the car pretty hard in the code has not popped back on and probably 40 miles what do you think I should do

Hi there,

It is possible the issue was a sticky valve from the car sitting. I would continue to drive it as is and if the code reappears then go into some diagnostics for it.
