1999 Nissan altima 4 cylinder sensor codes

I have a 1999 Nissan Altima that I drive for about an hour or two and it started putting until it cuts off, then I have to wait about an hour to two before it will start again. I have it diagnose as code (CO731) I need help

C0731 is not a valid code for this vehicle, if you meant P0731 then yes this would be a valid code , and would fit the description that you have, P0731 is more of a mechanical condition with the transmission. the best solution is with a rebuilt transmission .
