P0016 Crankshaft / Camshaft timing misalignment

Unfortunately Dodge does not give the Cam and Crank alignment specification this is PCM controlled, If you are setting a P0016 this is strictly mechanical problem such as the timing belt, or flex plate that moved out of position, If the cam or crank signal is erratic you would set a cam or crank intermittent code. Having a P0016 mean the signal for both the cam and crank are healthy but not in alignment, This code will give you a rough idle. 90 % of time this code is set due to a timing belt wear
