P0300 97 venture 3.4 chevy

Question

It was running just fine cruise set at 68 suddenly it kicked out of cruise and wouldn't run when try to start it it not firing right and knocking like a cam or timing jumped it rattle a second then die  code says it a po3oo

P0300 Random misfire

This engine uses a CMP and a CKP with a ignition coil, timing is not adjustable, What you may have to test for is fuel pressure, or even if you have fuel.Low fuel pressure would result in the same situation . The fuel pressure specification is 41 - 47 psi with key on engine off
