i have a 1996 honda civic dx its non vtec and i put the vtec intake on its coming back with a p1509 i had to lenthen the connector and it stumbles around 1500 rpm

This code is for a problem with the IAC on the engine. If the idle speed is out of range you can get this code. The IAC can cause this, but so can a bad mass air flow sensor or vacuum leak.
