P1443 Ford -

Question

I have a ford ranger,and the check engine light is on, i plugged the scanner and the code is p1443.
I changed the sensor and all the parts that were causing the issue but the light stills there, i need to know what can be causing the engine light to keep coming out... pls answer. Thank you.

P1443 EVAP control system purge control solenoid or purge control valve fault

Either you are missing the voltage to the purge flow or poor connection to the purge flow, this code is strictly with he purge solenoid. A ruptured hose of the purge flow such as a collapse purge hose will set this code.
