I have a 2010 chevy impala LT. Has only 88000 miles on it. It worked fine the night before, the next morning when started up it was shaking and the engine light was flashing. It did it twice then was running ok besides the fact the check engine light was still on. After driving it once, it now continues to run like that. I checked the spark plugs and also put fuel injector cleaner inside, but still has the same problem. What should I check next?

Hi there,

First step should be to check the plug wires and boots. Then the ignition coil. What I would do is with the engine running spray some water on the wires and the coil, then look for sparks arcing. Many times this will show you if you have a plug wire issue or a problem with the coil. In most cases when the CEL is flashing it's an electrical ignition issue.
