1999 hyundai accent. Code says incorrect Evaporative emissions control purge.the check engine light is on what is likely to be the cause

Hi there,

The 2 most common causes of this code would be the purge control solenoid or the canister closed valve. If you have trouble putting fuel into the car then it's usually the ccv. If fueling is fine, but the car has trouble starting after you put gas in, then the purge control is the usual problem.
