P0742 GMC Jimmy diagnostic help

Question

Starts out normal once it shifts a gear if you hit the brakes it will stay locked up and stall out before coming to a complete stop. There is also a P0131 code present. The issue is not in the transmission itself so where else should I look. Thank you for your time and help

P0742 Torque convertor clutch system stuck on

P0131 02 sensor low voltage

Look into the TPS sensor. If the TPS sensor is malfunctioning it would set a P0742, and it does not have to set a TPS code.
