P0430 2007 CadillacSTS - Could this code be caused by a bad Purge Silanode

Question

The car acts like it is trying to crank but will not.  If I wait awhile ( a couple hours) it will start right up.If I continue the battery will go dead.  There is a Code P0430 that OnStar gives. Not sure if they are related.  Could it be a Purge Silanode switch?

Hi there,

This issue is not related to not starting. The code is for the bank 2 catalytic converter not working properly. The purge control solenoid will not cause this code.
