Shift solenoid B is the 2-3 shift solenoid, The possible way to set a 2-3 shift solenoid is to have a mechanically stuck shift solenoid 2-3 or a shift solenoid 2-3 stuck in the open position. What you need to watch out for when a shift solenoid  fault occurs is overheating the transmission.
