I brought my 04 Xterra in and the shop said they repaired the issue and sealed top of gas tank. The check engine light came back on after I picked it up and when I tried to fill my gas tank up it spit the gas back out. Does that have to do with the fact that their repair was they applied reseal to the top of gas tank?
Vehicle: 2004 Xterra, 3.3L V6

Hi there,

Actually the code indicates there is a problem with the vent control valve. This will also cause the issue with the truck spitting fuel back at you.
