I have a 1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport and had an out of state mechanic replace my crank position sensor,( it ran fine but would just shut off while driving and show crank sensor code). Then when I went to pick the XJ up it ran horribly. The mechanic couldn't figure it out. I do think he had shorted my battery out as my original battery was swelled and it was new. I had it shipped down to FL and I get a P1694 and P1391 code. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there

When the crank sensor is replaced it has to be synced to the cam sensor and the computer. If the mechanic didn't do this it will cause the running issue.
