Replaced sensor two weeks ago, check engine light on, same code, all dash lights on, but vehicle did not die.  Could the new sensor bought at dealer be bad?  Worked for 2 or 3 weeks.

Hi there,

It is possible the new sensor is no good, but it's also possible there is a mechanical issue with the engine. At this time I would suggest you first check the timing with a scan tool to make sure that bank 1 and bank 2 are reading the same, if there isn't any reading from bank2 then you know the sensor isn't working properly. If there is but it's not the same as bank 1, then you have a timing issue inside the engine.
