Vehicle stalled while running.
Then would not start.
Battery is good. Engine
cranks but will not turn over.
Tow truck driver says it sounds
like the fuel pump.
Recently had vehicle serviced by Toyota.
Toyota installed new V-Belt, an oil change
and installed a new water pump.
Vehicle has 127,000 miles.
How to fix problem and will it cost much?
Vehicle: 2008, Toyota Highlander and 3.5L V6 FWD

Hi there,

If you have a  P0340 code then it's not likely the fuel pump causing the issue. This is either the cam position sensor which would be about a $200 repair or the timing belt which would run much much more as it would damage the engine. Best of luck to you with this! Hope it's only the cam sensor.
