04 Explorer Limited 4.0 6 cyl. Changed the fuel pump assembly and still no gauge function although I notice when I start the truck the needle dips slightly but remains under the "E".

This indicates either the gauge and instrument cluster has a problem or the wiring from the sending unit is broken and not sending the signals.It could also be an issue with the PCM
