Can the code po445 cause my car to just turn off and lock up even while driving? Two months ago my car quit working, I could not get it to start, it would act like it want to start, but it wouldn't turn over, and when it finally did it would run for about a minute the start rumbling and shaking and then just turn of on it's own, I had a garage near me come to check it. He got it running and said that at that time my fuel pump was weak, and as long as I kept my gas tank level at above a quarter of a tank it should be a ok for a couple of months. So I had been keeping it above half a tank and it worked for about 2 months until, this past Sunday I was going to work, and my car wouldn?t start, it was dong the same thing it did before, but I had a full tank of gas in it. I had a new fuel pump and filter put in it then, and it was working good. Until the next day when I left work I noticed that the service engine soon light came on, and when I was going down rt 220, going around 55 mph, all of a sudden it just turned off a everything locked up and I had no breaks, steering, gas, nothing, it all locked up. I was going up a slight incline, and that managed to slow me down enough to come to a complete stop by the time I got to the top, and I struggled to get it to turn onto a dirt road and off the main road. After I let it sot for a couple of minutes I got it to start again, and it got me home. Then next day I went to advanced auto and did a reading on it and the n'y thing that came up was code po455 evaporation emission system gross leak confirmed. It said everything else was good. Can this cause my car to not want to start and satypn, or cause it to just turn off and lock up even when I am driving?
