2008 Chevrolet Optra LT with engine code P0700. I have a car and no function, I put de key intro the switch and don´t start anything

This code is for a malfunction with the transmission control module. It's possible the TCM has failed and the car won't start because it doesn't know it's in park. Here is some more info on the code.
