Is it easy to replace the crankshaft position sensor in a 2006 Mercedes Benz R350?

Depends how handy you are and if you the tools for it. The crank sensor is on the back of the engine on the drivers side below the back of the cylinder head where the transmission bolts up to the engine.

It is bolted to the engine block with one bolt.It has a 3 wire connector plugged into it.The bolt has to be removed from the top coming in from the back and top of the cylinderhead with an extension.
