This code is kind of a catch all code. The computer knows there is a problem with the evap system but can't pinpoint where the issue is. Most of the time the best place to start is with a smoke test to check for leaks, then test the solenoids. Sometimes it's best to wait and see if a second code appears. It is safe to drive the car with this code.
