My 2001 dodge cummins is having transmission troubles. I can go about a 1oo yrds before I have no gears. I can turn the key off and then turn it back on and it goes again. I can keep doing that and keep it shifting but as soon as it goes a little is all repeat.

Vehicle: 2001 dodge 2500 cummins 5.9

P0757 Govenor pressure above 3 PSI ingear with ) mile per hour.

Gives gear then nothing, the best solution for this is , check the transmission fluid level. before going further, low transmission fluid would do this, if the fluid level is correct the transmission pan would have to be removed and inspect for heavy sediments, if there is heavy sediment you rrebuild the transmission or replace transmision
