car quit a few weeks ago and wouldn't start. Only code on a simple scanner was p108. Cleaned intake and replaced maf sensor. Started and ran fine the next day. Last week quit on the site of the road. Similiar symptoms. Replaced crank position sensor, battery, throttle position sensor. No change. Will start when you push on the gas. Misfires gives p300 and p108 code.

P0300 Random Misfire

P0108 MAP sensor signal high

Signal high  or circuit high means the ECM does not see the signal, it give it power but there is no signal in return check the harness for a open connection or a failed connection of the MAP sensor,

This engne has a MAP sensor and a MAF (mass airflow sensor) if the MAP sensor is not seen by the ECM it would set a CK ENG LT this would cause the ECM to use the MAF and TPS as back up, Because of the stalling condition and fully depressing the fuel pedal to start, check the fuel pressure, even with a failed MAP sensor the engine would not stall.
