Hey there...
I have a 2000 Ford Excursion V10 6.8L. I am having an issue with my CHT... I've replaced it three times now... I've replaced the thermostat, flushed the coolant, and disconnected the trailer brake harness.... anyone has any guidance?

HI there,

You will need to make sure the harness isn't broken from the sensor to the computer. To do this disconnect both ends and ohm the wiring. Or you can use a scan tool to read the live data input from the cht sensor. These work using resistance, so if there is any chaffing or corrosion in the wiring it will cause issues with the way the sensor reads at the computer.
