Hi we replaced the Throttle position sensor and it is still giving us the code/p1120.
2001 Ford Escort. Do we need to replace another sensor in combination with this one?
Thanks

Hi there,

There isn't any other sensor replacement required for this code. You do need to adjust the TPS and also make sure you have power to it. There should be a lower voltage (reference voltage) wire feed, then as you open the throttle you should see a change in the voltage.

Check the wiring from the computer to the TPS, if there is a break in the wiring you will have this issue.
