Question

I have a 97 maxima gle with 206k. the trans is not shifting past 1st gear even when done manually. I also pulled a code for torque converter clutch solenoid.. I do not have the money to pay for a rebuild our new trans. if I replace the clutch solenoid and trans filter and fluid will that fix my problem? even temporarily? or am I just screwed? Can I get a used one from salvage yard? any help would be greatly appreciated!
