Pontiac Torrent 2008, 3.4L.OBD scanner shows code P0446 and P0449. How to fix it.

OBDII scanner shows code P0446 and P0449 in my 2008 Pontiac Torrent 3.4L.
Do I need to change the vent valve and Purge valve solenoid both to fix the code P0446 and P0449? How difficult to fix this problem?

Hi there,

The P0446 is basically a catch all code for the evap system. Since you also have the P0449, replacing the vent control solenoid should resolve the issue. The purge solenoid should be fine.
