Hello Everyone

Roger on this end, I have 06 Maxima with 289K on it my check engine light came on the other day, I plugged my code reader to it and gave me the codes P0138, P0158, P0037 and P0057 which are my sensors. I called the dealer to check on pricing and of course they wanted my first born, left arm and both nuts. So I said to the guy I would order them online, he said if I do that they need to be exact lengths to the bad sensors or I could cause more damage. He also mentioned that he would cut me a break and give me a 10% discount due to my military status. Is this as@wipe feeding me crap or is there any truth to this. I do plan on testing all the sensors before spending the cash of course. A little help in Utah. Thanks to all who respond.

Vehicle: 2006, Maxima, SE, 3.5L

You can order the sensor online, the replacement parts are usually exactly the same.

What more damage could the sensor cause? you may experince some gas mileage change, but other than that the bad sensor will not damge the engine.
