P0743 FORD - recently changed alternator on 2002 Ford Taurus SEL dohc, now have transmission issues

P0743 FORD - recently changed alternator on 2002 ford taurus dohc and had no issues with transmission prior, Afterwards several codes appeared such as the 0743 code with broken circuit. The vehicle will not shift past 1st gear but would like to know where is the wire located that could be affected
