I'm having problems with it dogging out especially in reverse....and I also smell gas

Smell of raw gas have the fuel pump check , its location is under the rear seat.which can be accessed

 The fuel pump has a high tendency to crack , access the fuel pump and check for leaks Here this one has a crack and caused a P0171, abd a hard to start at all times, plus the strong smell of raw fuel
