p0700 dodge neon stuck on 1st gear?

Question

Code p0700 came up, replaced in & out speed sensors and car still on limp mode, MIL lamp still on. Need help Please. Last year replaced shift solenoid Borg Warner and fluid gasket etc.. 163,000 miles car was running like a champ Thx Art

P0700 Transmission fault detected MIL light requested

Stuck in first gear, if this condition happen all of a sudden check the fuse in the engine fuse box, listed as fuse 17 which is for the transmission control relay, and recheck for any code conditon , as a last resort the transmission solenoid pack may be final solution before a rebuilt transmission
