Question

I was cruising at 65 mph when the engine died. The engine turns over and would fire but seems to be lacking gas. (by sound) The error codes are P1122, P0463

P1122 TP sensor circuit intermittent low input

P0463 Fuel level sensor circuit high

Fuel pressure has to be check when having this situation, low fuel pressure will set a TPS sensor code. If the fuel pressure is within specification, you replace the TPS sensor. Having a fuel level sensor circuit high is commonly seen on Chevy products This is one of the reason if you ever have to replace the fuel pump module it comes with a harness repair kit.
