how do you replace the VSS (trans revolution sensor) on 2000 maxima se

Transmission went in neutral couldnt drive it home. i was checking it out and it goes into gear in the driveway. so i took it out around my park it it drove fine through all the gears. didnt push it though. I have P0720 code

Hi there,

The revolution sensor is mounted to the side of the transmission. Removing the left front tire gives you the best access through the wheel well.
